What materials are your Products made of?
Products we sell are made of several types of materials, each material has its own benefits and characteristics.
Cedar
Highly prized and one of the most popular materials for outdoor structures is Cedar which can last up to 20-30 years outdoors. Oils and acids which occur naturally in the material make it durable and highly decay resistant to rot, moisture, and insect infestation. Cedar is often straight-grained, aesthetically attractive, and gives off a pleasing and recognizable scent.
Nordic Spruce
Nordic Spruce is a highly prized wood material in Scandinavia. Long cold winters and short summers in the growth region lead to a slow growth rate of timber, instilling it with innate strength, longevity, and durability. Material is highly valued for its aesthetic aspects – its fresh light Nordic hue, small knots, and attractive even wood grain. Enhanced with natural protective dip treatment applied throughout the material for year-round weather shielding.
Wood Plastic Composite
Wood Plastic Composite is a revolutionary material that combines the advantages of wood and resin to offer the best of both worlds. Similar to composite decking boards, it gives your product maintenance-free, long-lasting durability of resin, as well as timeless beauty and strength of natural wood.
We do not sell metal or plastic sheds because we do not believe in their quality.
Do your structures come with flooring?
Our Cedar and Nordic spruce structures come with flooring
included. Wood Plastic Composite structures do not come with flooring, although can be installed directly on a suitable foundation.
Is a foundation required for the structures?
For best result it is recommended that product be set up on a leveled, well drained, hard surface. A level foundation will ensure the alignment of doors and their proper operation. The height of the foundation should extend at least 2” above the ground, this will enhance product’s performance and extend its lifetime. There are various foundation options such as poured concrete slab base, concrete paving slabs, patio stone base, crushed stone gravel base, timber frame base, and wooden decking. Each foundation type option has various features and benefits.
How many people are required to assemble the structure?
The assembly should be carried out by 2 people. Structures come included with all necessary hardware needed to assemble them and assembly instructions.
How long does it take to assemble the structure?
Assembly may take anywhere between 2-6 hours depending on the model being purchased, more time is required to assemble larger structures. Structures are delivered as a complete kit and contain many components; a certain amount of skill is recommended for proper installation. If necessary, please consider hiring a professional assembly provider to ensure proper installation of your product.
Do you offer assembly services?

Will I need a building permit?
Building permits are generally not required for structures under 100 sq. ft. in most jurisdictions. It's always best if you check with your local building department to make sure prior to making the purchase. Permits may be required for structures larger than 100 sq. ft. If you do need a permit, we can provide the necessary documentation for your permit application.
How do I determine the right size for my needs?
Choosing the right size is essential for optimizing your storage space. Dimensions should be based on how you plan to use your structure, what you plan to store inside, and the amount of space available on your property to be allocated for that purpose. We suggest considering your current needs as well as your future needs.
Are your structures customizable to match my needs?
Our structures come in various styles, designs, size, and feature options which should address all your requirements right out of the box. Products are premanufactured and prepackaged for quick fulfilment and delivery to your residence. Some structures, particularly the larger ones are made to order and are available with various options. Choices are only as you see them online and no additional customization is available.
Are the structures suitable for year-round use?
Yes, our structures are designed to withstand different weather conditions, making them suitable for year-round use. They provide reliable protection for your belongings in all seasons.
What is the warranty on your structures?
We stand behind the quality and durability of our products. All structures sold on StorageShedShop.com are backed by the applicable manufacturers' warranties. Warranty coverage varies based on the model and manufacturer and are mentioned on each product’s webpage. Rest assured; we only offer products from trusted brands with a reputation for highest quality in the industry.
How do I care for the products?
Structures will be exposed to harsh outdoor elements. Monthly cleaning can help maintain a good appearance and make your investment last longer. They can be cleaned using soapy water. Be sure to completely rinse off the soapy water with clean water. A pressure washer with 1,200 to 1,350 pounds per square inch is useful although you must use a low setting.

What is your cancellation policy?

Can I change my order?
You can change your order at no cost by simply emailing us at info@StorageShedShop.com and requesting the change. Any price difference will be credited to your card, or we will send you a custom invoice to pay the difference. Orders can only be changed before shipping.

Where do orders get shipped from?
Your order will be shipped from our USA warehouse.
How quickly are orders shipped out?
Our structures are large, heavy items that require extra handling time for fulfillment to ensure your order gets shipped accurately and efficiently. In most cases your order is shipped within 2-3 business days of being placed.
How quickly are orders delivered to my location?
Our structures are large, heavy items that cannot be shipped by UPS or FedEx. Due to their size and weight, they must be delivered by specialized Home Delivery freight carriers with Standard Curbside delivery service. Once shipped, depending on your location and proximity to the warehouse where products are being shipped from, orders should arrive within 5-10 business days (does not include order processing time). Please allow extra time for delivery to remote addresses.
What is the cost of delivery to my residence?
All our products are shipped FREE (with Standard CURBSIDE Delivery Service) to anywhere in the mainland contiguous USA. Excludes AK, HI, and any US territories or islands located off the mainland.
What if my product is damaged?
It is important to inspect the package when it arrives to make sure the items are all there and in good condition. Damages caused from transit should be noted on delivery slip, if merchandise has shipping damage at time of delivery, customer should indicate "damaged" on the delivery slip and accept the delivery. Notify us immediately within 48 hours and send brief description of the damage or missing part along with photos of the damage to info@StorageShedShop.com. We will replace damaged or missing parts free of charge right away. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for more information.
